That is so wonderful!

If my mother hadn't smoked...she'd be 80 when this baby is born. That would have been 5 generations of women! You're very fortunate to have that!

Another something to be thanksful for...
That is amazing news. Congratulations to your family and grand daughter. I pray for a healthy pregnancy and baby.

Congratulations! A great-grandchild! My brother has a 23-year old granddaughter, while I had practically given up on having any grandchildren. Now I have six grandchildren, ages 7 and below! Once my 2 daughters got started, they did not stop! But I will never live long enough to have great-grandchildren.

Your granddaughter must live close by -- wasn't her college the Washington Huskies? You are so fortunate!

Wowie, zowie! I've been thinking about this possibility (being great grandma) coming up on me soon too. You are ahead of us though. Our oldest grands are 17, but you never know about 17 year olds.

Congratulations. Your granddaughter is beautiful. More cute little one to knit for...

Much happiness to all of your family, especially to the mommy to be. For people with skills like yours, ArtLady, someone has to come up with better superlatives than grand and great.

Since that photo was taken I have lost both mother and grandmother. Mom went on Dec 31, 2003 and Grandmother went on Aug 9th 2007.

Yes, she and Jose attended the University of Washington!

Yes, she lives about 10 minutes from her Gram! We've been fortunate...all 5 of our children and all 10 of our grandchildren, live within 15 minutes from us!
