Blocking a sweater made of nylon

I'm presently working on the French Girl Knits, Veronique shurg. I have knitted it with a Nylon yarn purchased at my LYS. In the pattern instructions it calls for a blocking of the shurg and I wondered given the yarn fabric would you recommend doing so ? What would you suggest?

Synthetics don't block like wool does, so you would just wash and dry according to the laundering instructions on the label. That could be handwash and dry flat, or machine wash and dry in the dryer. That evens out the sts which is the main part of 'blocking' anyway.
