Knitting Elastic

Is there a video somewhere on site with this technique? If not How do I go about knitting the elastic while working the rib without having to darn it in once the piece is complete. And if I knit the thread with the yarn what happens when I cut it? do I tie a knot and darn it into the ribbing? Thank you for your help.

yes after getting the elasitc woven through, tie a small knot and weave the tail for three or 4 stitches. then cut. If knitted just add itwith the yarn as you are casting on and then tie it off and weave in after the ribbing is finished.
