Blocking a stocking
So, I just finished a stocking and I need to block it. What should I do??? The yarn is 55% nylon and 45% acrylic. Maybe block isn't the right word... press?
Confused!
Thanks

Pressing it could be hazardous to your stocking since acrylic can melt.. nylon too maybe? Light steaming might be okay, but don't over heat it. You could also just lay it out on a blocking board (or whatever) and spray it then shape it (pin if you want to) and let it dry.

Just lay it flat, socks/stockings don't really need to be blocked.
