Perhaps the words "Sale Price" are a marketing device, but so are a lot of words in any "ad", eh? Being in direct sales for 30 years, I can tell you...most ads are filled with buzz words that are designed to create 'need' and 'urgency'!
Ah well, so what? As long as the facts of the product are accurately portrayed, I'm good with SALE! ONLY! ONE TIME! HURRY! WHILE SUPPLIES LAST! and other language designed to excite us to action!
I do believe her price of $149.95 is truly a sale price,
coming from her brick-and-mortar yarn shop. Typically, the brick-and-mortar HAS TO charge more to pay for the rent, lights, and hired help! They can barely compete in the marketplace anymore, with online sales killing them! My LYS is selling Addi Clicks for $169.95...with the promise that her next shipment will be priced $10 higher, as you also stated.
I think the price of $149 will be the LOWEST price we will EVER SEE on Addi Clicks anywhere. It's all uphill from there. The price should stabilize somewhere under $200...and hopefully at the $179 range!
