weaving in mitered corners of blanket

I am almost done with my borders on my baby blanket. Can someone tell me how to go about weaving up the corners ? I just would like to do this correctly so there is NO BUMPS on the corners. This is my first project I am giving someone as a gift. Thank You for your help Sheila
