Rather than relax on Christmas day, I decided what the heck why not start a new project.
After 13 rows of K2 P2 I felt I was doing a pretty good job for not having the greatest confidence level in my beginner skills. However, now I am to the part of the pattern where it is telling me to:
Setup Round: K16, Place Marker, Increase 1, K1, Increase 1, Place Marker, Knit to end of round
Round 1: K around slipping all markers
Round 2: K around slipping all markers
Round 3: K to first marker, slip marker, increase 1, K to next marker, Increase 1, Slip Marker, K to end of round.
Repeat rounds 1-3 until you have 13 stitches between the markers –row 18 since the end of the ribbing.
Well I wasn't sure about the Increases. Does an increase count as the K1? I increased 1 and knit it and then Knit 1 and increased 1 again and knit it. Now that I've gone a ways I think I shouldn't have done what I did. I am not even 100% sure if I did the increase correctly. (Sorry if I am not getting the knitting lingo down, I am new
.) I used the increase video found one here, Make One Left.
Can anyone help me sort this out? Please?
