Here's a picture of me and my new rescue-puppy (she was left in the overnight drop-off box of the Dachshund Rescue):

She'll be one year old the end of January. And I did knit her coat, but you can't see much of it. Her name is Kitzell - German for Tickle.
She is so cute. I have dachshund from the shelter. Best pet ever.

Yes, there is something about those doxies... especially the rescue ones. Can't resist them! And they usually do live quite a long time.

My mother had one that got paralyzed at 4 years... who lived to be 14 years old. Little Cinder got my mom through the "empty nest" syndrome quite nicely!

It always looks so cool. Especially the more intricate ones. I'm always too scared to try them... and so, I never have.

Neat-o!
Be happy to fill you in on the details. We sailed out of New York for a seven day cruise to Nassah The food on board was terrific There is one central cafeteria where we had breakfast and lunch and two beautiful dining rooms for dinner. W spent a day in Cape Canaveral and went to Coco beach the next day was spent on an island owned by the cruise line (Norwegian Cruise Lines) where we had a lunch on the shore. The only thing I bought were some new sunglasses although my d and gd each got a new watch. I saw the most beautiful emeralds but they were out of my price range. We had a stateroom with a balcony . I would do it again in a heartbeat.

What a precious picture!

730 here on the west coast. Just eating some yummy spaghetti and garlic bread hubby made. Our baby girl just loves spaghetti. She's 14 months now.
