OK, everybody....I'm getting this party started for real now. I'm putting all the names in a box, and shaking it up real good. My hubby will be drawing the first knitting book prize at 12:00 midnight, EST. The prizes are in a separate box, so he'll draw one of those also. It's the luck of the draw who wins, and WHAT they will win. Good luck to you all!

Hi guys... I'm 32 weeks pregnant and on bed rest, so I won't be going out tonight :( I'll be checking in once in awhile.... I'm working on knitting a blanket for my baby so I won't be doing the drink cozy tonight.

I remember the first time that I used to dpns, I thought that they were the scariest things in the world. I was so sure that I would drop a stitch, but I didn't. I was proud of myself!

My Mom picked out the yarn for her shawl at the beginning of the summer... I believe I've restarted the darn thing more than a dozen times since then lol

@knittingfor7 I hear ya on the "finishing one before starting another". I did try that this year... for all of a few hours LOL I find I get bored easily with a project and need something on the go in many different forms so I can jump to another when I get bored with one. I'm also very impatient when it comes to my projects. I want them done NOW, not three months from now lol I was very proud of myself this year though. I redid a crocheted afghan my step-grandma had made almost 20 years ago that my brother inherited that had seen better days. It took me an entire year to get it done. It didn't end up being exactly like the older version as I put my own twist on it. I've got a pic of it up on my blog if anyone wants to see it.

aww..poor mama! Hope you can survive bed rest..that would stink!
