Happy New Year from the West coast! It's only 8:50 here, so we have a ways to go until the ball drops!

This is a fun idea...am raiding my stash for some ad hoc drink cosy yarn right now.

(I can't tell if the drawings have happened at all, but if not, I'd love to be entered for a book! I don't own a cell phone though that app looks cool!)

I just finished my Itty Bitty Toys Sock Monkey. I was dubious on the hair but I think it makes it so cute! Very happy to have it done. Onto the next project, whatever it may be!

So does anyone have a REALLY simple baby hat pattern they can post a link to? I've never done dpns before, but I'd like to try doing a baby hat before the little man gets here.... thanks in advance

It's a fantastic book! It's where I first started knitting in the round about a year ago at this time (squishies) and then have gone on to make the giraffe, snake, and monkey so far. I haven't yet decided what the next project will be but there's so many fun options!
