Vintage baby pattens

I have several vintage Patons baby patterns. The wool to use on one says 'baby quickerknit' and the other says 'Patons baby wool'.

Could anyone tell me what ply either of these are?

From what I've read it looks like Quickerknit is between a 4 ply and DK weight ... so I would try one of those and just make sure that you're getting the same gauge as specified in the pattern.

As far as Patons Baby Wool, it looks like it is available in both a 2 ply and a 3 ply.

Hope this helps a little .... maybe someone more familiar with these particular yarns will be able to be more specific!

Is there a gauge listed on the pattern? If so, you can use any yarn that knits to the same gauge.
