does anyone know what the error is on the titania sweater pattern

Have you done a google search for any corrections? If you're having a problem figuring out a portion, you can type in a couple rows that don't come out right and we can help you. Also a link to the pattern or a picture would help. Off hand I don't know what the titania sweater is.

I found several patterns by that name. Are you making either of these free ones?

I found a reference to the berroco pattern - where it is telling you to decrease on the front panel should be increases.
