Ops, they're charging for archived editions. Most magazines are not doing that online. It's not a wise policy for Interweave.

I haven't checked their website, but I would guess that they aren't free to read on line.
I don't have money to spend on magazine subscriptions.

You know I already checked the website. However many magazines are free online, if you want to consider another knitting mag. I read my NYTimes and dozens of mags online.

I always enjoyed looking through the magazine at the library. I hated to see that they were no longer going to subscribed to it.
Mainly because I like it and it was free. I know I can purchase it and others at Wal-Mart, but as I stated I don't have extra funds that can be spent on magazines whether bought one at a time or via subscription.

I was irritated because they might carry ten different magazines of any given topic yet they quit with the only knitting magazine that they had. They don't even carry crochet magazines.

Thanks everyone though. When I have more time at the libraries free WIFI I'll look to see what online magazines are available for free.

I just did a fast Yahoo search for you. Here are some free magazines, and the last one is a review of online magazines. If you need any more, just plug "online knitting magazines " into your favorite search engine.

And there are so many free patterns all over the net that you might never spend money for a pattern again.

Really? I've never seen any of the major magazines offer free back issues. If they did no one would buy them since they can get the free issue later it seems to me. Maybe I'm misunderstanding you...

Maybe not so many knitting magazines, but if you check the left side of my home page, all those mags and newspapers can be found online. Not just back issues but either entire or partial selection of current issues. The Wall Street Journal charges, but very few others. Many can be delivered to your email too.

You can also add a few of my computer mags to the list. I haven't bought a paper magazine in years.

Oh I see. I read it as knitting magazines which most of the mainstream ones you can by in stores do charge for back issues.
