Quote: row 1-4 you simply knit as is row 5-8 you repeat the lace twice row 9-12 you repeat the lace 3 times
That's how you would write it, putting brackets around the part that's repeated again -

Row 5: [k, yo, *lace pattern* , k, *lace* , yo, k] rpt twice
row 7: [k, yo, *lace*, k3, *lace*, yo, k] repeat twice

Tell before: all even rows are purl. The odd rows have a repeat as follows: row 1 .... *lace* repeat as stated below... row 3 in the odd rows you repeat the lace part gets worked once in the original row, then with each following row it gets repeated one more time. Best place markers at the beginning and end of the lace sections and repeat the lace section as many times as fit between those markers. Is that doable for you? __________________ Continental Knitter with passion, pretty busy and always onto something new. I have been away from the forum for a bit, but I am still around!
