Help for a newbie
Hello!

I need a little help understanding my first pattern, it reads

Sleeves
Cast on 58 - yep, got that
Work in rib as for back for 6 rows - yep, got that
dec 1 st at end of last row and ending RS - yep, got that too

This is where I get lost!
Beg with K row, work in st st, shaping sides by 1 st at each end of 3rd and 2 foll 4th rows then on foll 6th row, 67 sts

Any simple advice would really be appreciated

At this point you're working knit one row, purl one row for stockinette. You'll increase in the first and last stitches as you go:

3rd row
7th row
11th row
17th row
23rd row
