Shawl Collar Sweater
I'm still debating if I should add sleeves or leave it sleeveless and wear it over a long sleeve t-shirt.

Uncollared

Collared

Obviously Collared is how it looks now, the uncollared picture was a wip kind of picture.

I vote for the long sleeve shirt with the vest with the shawl collar. I like the look of it with the collar.

I vote for adding sleeves. It looks top-heavy without.

That's my 2 cents worth

That's a beautiful sweater! I love the color and yarn! If it's cold where you live it might be nice to have sleeves, but it also looks good as a vest.

ETA: You can add the photos instead of links.

JudyD nailed it...it looks top-heavy without the sleeves.
If you were going to leave it as is...as a vest...another type of neckline edge would be best...such as a 2x2 ribbing.

As it is now...it does look like the sleeves are missing. The armhole shaping was designed for sleeves to be attached.

But all in all...it is a wonderful looking garment! You really chose THE PERFECT YARN for this project! Lookin' good!

Wow, what a goregous sweater, and a great fit! I vote for the collar and sleeves.

Yep, I vote for putting some sleeves in the collared version. Looks nice and warm. Great job!

I started working on the sleeves. I think I agree with the general consensus here. It looks a little top heavy and I agree that the shoulders/arm holes were designed for sleeves. I still think I'm gonna wear it out as is until I get those sleeves attached though. I'm just in love with this style of collar.

And yes Jan, its freakin freezing where I live right now. Literally. It's actually 21 degrees outside right now.
