Poll: What is your favorite yarn weight on a finished object?

Just a poll for fun - what is your favorite yarn weight on a finished object? I.E., regaurdless of your preference regaurding WORKING with the yarn, when everything is completed, which yarn weight in a finished object is your favorite to look at? I am asking because my brother and sister and I want to start doing "craft sales" (instead of yard sales), and I would like to hear the general preference so that our finished objects appeal to the majority, and we'll have an easier time selling them.

Well, I voted for medium, BUT it really depends on the project. I do like working with DK or worsted weight the best and that's probably because I'm most comfortable with needles in the US 4-9 range.

I think we've decided that we're mostly going to make less intricate items like scarfs, fingerless gloves, blankets, ponchos, hats, arm warmers, etc, as compared to socks, baby clothes, and thing of that nature.

I voted for the "super fine" category, but it really does depend on the project ... I love worsted and bulky yarns too!

With the items you described you could easily use a variety of yarn weights, but since you're making the items for sale you might want to use worsted or bulky weight yarns when you can so that your projects will knit up faster.

I voted dk/light worsted. Takes longer, but I like the quality of most dk yarns.

I really can't answer this poll. My favorite is medium and finer. I really don't like the bulky stuff... unless I'm felting so that you don't see how thick the yarn is. I'm just not a fan of the really thick stuff and how it looks.
