Slip Stitch
Hi guys!
If you have a pattern that has an even number of stitches in each row and requires a k2p2 pattern, how do you incorporate a slipped stitch at the beginning of each row? The next row would require p2k2.
Should I include that slipped stitch in the k2? And in the next row, maybe slip purlwise and include it in the p2?

You can add a st to the cast on, but you also slip the first st on the other row, so you'd need to add another st and that may change the size.

Simply sl 1, k1, p2, etc. If you're going to seam the edges or pick up stitches along the edge, don't do slip stitch. You only need to slip the first st if it's an exposed edge.
