Dont laugh... but I need patterns for size 17 knitting needles that are for beginners (using only garter stitch) soon. I hve looked and looked. I can't go to the library because my mom is too busy to take me and Im only 11. My point is, I need something that is only garter stitch for size 17 needles that will keep me busy. I would prefer a tote, sweater,or small afghan. Thanks for your help.
PS- I dont have that much yarn maybe only one pound

It's better if you tell us the yardage and weight of the yarn. I'm not sure that's enough for a sweater anyway, but here's some patterns for that size needles.

This one is size 15 needles, but it will be fine on 17. It'll just be slightly looser.

One comment...if your yarn is not a super bulky yarn the results will NOT look like these patterns. If you have a worsted weight you'll get a lacy effect from needles that large.

When asking questions ALWAYS post the name and a link for the pattern if you have it.
