My good fortune (could be a pun)
I recently sold some of my knitting. Back in September a gal from my church said she might buy a couple of sweaters if I made some up in about a 6 month size (for her new baby boy). So I did that (the last 2 I shared on What'cha Knittin). I called her and told her I had some to show and she said she might buy other things from me too. So when I went to her house I took all the baby stuff I have (some I've had for years) and one older child sweater.

She started looking through my stuff and making stacks (I didn't know what the stacks meant). She then told me she would take "these" indicating 13 sweaters. Of course I never know what to charge but she offered $37.50 (based on something she bought from someone else). Some were really small, one a small preemie or doll size. She paid the same for each. She took a few little hats too and paid me $500.00 for the whole works.

I was thrilled and wanted to share my story.

At first I was about to have a heart attack, thinking she was offering you $37.50 total for the 13 sweaters!

What a cool deal! Love it!
