FO: Basic cabled hat
This is a hat I made for our local hat and mitten drive. I got the pattern on Ravelry...I seem to be a magnet for patterns with mistakes lately and this is one of them. I looked at several FOs on Ravelry and although most said it was an easy knit not a soul said anything about a mistake in the pattern. It is an easy knit once you figure out whether to use the 6-stitch or the 8-stitch cable. Pattern starts with 6-stitch but decreases are based on the 8-stitch...

The hat stretches nicely and should fit an 8-10-yr-old.

It's adorable! Great pompom on top, too! Nice and big and fluffy! Good job on clipping it nice and even!!!

That's very cute! Good job figuring the error, too.
