I started knitting myself a top-down cardigan with really nice cables down the front (wheat-ears). A few weeks ago, I hit yarn sale and bought some bulky Encore - when it arrived, I was astonished at the amount of yarn! Normally, I subtract a skein from a pattern 'cause I am such a shorty - so I set about to knit a sweater for my 6' tall son. The nicest pattern I had for that looked kinda plain, so I put the same cable down the front of it! So far, so good!

Those are beautiful!

When asking questions ALWAYS post the name and a link for the pattern if you have it.

Beautiful! May I ask what the pattern is for the top-down cardigan? I really would like one for myself....
