Overstitching
I just finished this scarf/arm warmer that I designed. I want to stitch a metallic stripe along one edge. I was told that I could do this by overstitching into my piece. Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks Janice

I believe what you're looking for is Swiss darning or duplicate stitch.
