Hi, I'm a new knitter, only a few weeks in and currently attempting to knit a duck from a King Cole pattern, I've worked most of it out but am totally stuck with the instructions at the end of the pattern for the body which says slip all stitches onto a thread. The end of the pattern for the otherside of the body says slip stitches onto the same thread as the stitches left for the back body - I am totally lost. I can slip stitches and cast off but have no idea what thises instructions mean, please can anyone help?
Thank you so much, that thought had gone through my head but I thought that the real solution must be much more complicated! Knitting has seemed scarily difficult to me for many years but actually it isn't really is it?
Thank you again.
