Table Runners

So my boyfriend asked me to make him a table runner for his coffee-esque table in his room.. but I wanna do more than just yarn stockinette stitched, you know? so the only cool one I could find was this one (this is my swatch I did to see if I'd like it) but I don't really like it... for the whole project.. just isn't enough ya know?



I'm also working on colors too? any recommendations on that subject too?

I do like the combination of greens you're using.

Don't forget about things like end fringe, beads or embroidery that can jazz up any project.

Thanks! I had already looked through ravelry and didn't really see anything so I was hoping someone had a favorite pattern they have already done or something like that... and yeah!! I was planning on doing fringe.. he's a manly man though i dont know how much he'd like beads or embroidery hehe
