Knitting basket question

I just finished my first felted project. Now starting a Knitting Basket. The pattern does not say to use double thread. Should I?? I am using Cascade 220. I used this same yarn for the bubble bag. Oh and the knitting basket will be felted also.

If it doesn't say to use 2 strands, then don't. Not all patterns are done the same way.

Is the yarn you plan on using the same yarn that the pattern suggests? If so, don't double the strand unless the pattern tells you to.
If you are substituting the yarn, and the Cascade is a lighter weight yarn than the one suggested in the pattern, you might want to double it.
