Regular scarf pattern to mobius/infinity pattern?

So I really love this "braided" scarf pattern:

However, I'd love to make it into a mobius/infinity scarf, is there an easy way to convert this pattern? Or does anyone know how to do such a thing/is it even possible?!?

You can always convert it to a mobius by using a provisional cast on and before joining the end to the beginning, put in a single twist. You could join with a 3 needle bind off or Kitchener stitch. But this pattern does have a right side and wrong side to it and you may want to take that into account.

Sure, do a provisional cast on, knit to the length you want, put a half twist in it, and either graft the ends together or a 3 needle bind off.
