How to decrease on a seed stitch hat?
I'm making a hat on straight needles using the seed stitch but I'm not sure how to decrease with this stitch. Can anyone help? I cast on 66 stitches. Thanks in advance!

Usually the decreases occur towards the top of the hat and they sometimes break the pattern. In the case of seed st, you'll have to do the decreases (k2tog or p2tog) and then be careful on the next rows that you maintain the seed st pattern as well as possible (you'll break the pattern in the area of the decrease, of course). Just watch the sts and knit the purls and purl the knits. When you come to the next decrease row, you'll be able to get back into the complete seed st pattern, alternating knits and purls.
