Finished one slipper!
Thank you to all my angel-helpers! started second slipper last night. Soon I'll have a pair, yay!
here's the top (knitted with 2 strands held tog):

and the side - fits pretty well! I added a small crochet tab (with the leftover sewing yarn, not enough though) at the back of heel, to help pull it on.

Looks great! These kind of slippers always remind me of my grandma.
