I don't understand this SSK
I am knitting this:

http://www.classiceliteyarns.com/pat...p?patternID=30

Their instructions for SSK
slip 2 sts at a time knitwise to the RH needle; return sts to LH needle in turned positon and knit them together through the back loops

I know how to SSK, but what is the "turned position"?

Ginny,
Thanks for any help

By slipping the sts knitwise that turns the way the sts are mounted on the needle. They should be slipped separately, not together as the instruction implies. You also don't need to put them back on the L needle, that's an uneeded step, just insert the L needle into the front of them on the R needle and knit them together.

Thank you! That is how I usually knit a SSK, but with the extra explantion the instructions confused me. Not hard to confuse me however!

Sometimes in trying to simplify how to do something, instructions just confuse things more.
