Yarn Guide Help
Hi everyone. =) Sorry ahead of time if I put this in the wrong spot.

I need a little help. I want to start knitting clothes (something other than socks or something) and I'm having a tough time determing what's good yarn to get the job done. I need a yarn that's not going to fray easily, will hold shape rather decently and that's not going to irritate my skin (like wool). I like the way Patons Grace yarn feels, but I don't know if that would be good for pants. I'd really appreciate your opinions and help. Thanks! =) Also, I'd like to avoid yarn that costs an arm and a leg since I'll probably need a lot for pants. LOL. Thanks. =P

Check out the patterns in Ravelry to see what kind of yarn people are using for clothing such as cardigans, tanks and thing of that nature. If that doesn't help you can alway try google or your LYS. To be honest, yarn preference vary. You may prefer the way a brand drapes and someone else might disagree.

Thanks. I didn't know anyone had replied to this post. But thanks. I'll keep checking. =)
