I'm so mad!
I have the Cold Virus from H#ll and it won't go away!!! I have had it for like two weeks or something, it brought Mr. Bronchitis along with it, too. I started sneezing again/having a sore throat/cough etc last night after being sure I was finally getting over it!
I'm really, really MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111

Awww...I know several people who've had really bad colds this spring. A couple of them had to be on antibiotics for a secondary infection. Secondary infections usually come after the original virus and you think you're getting better. If a cold continues like that it's a good idea to get it checked out by a doctor to make sure it hasn't gone into pneumonia or something especially if you're coughing.

I totally feel your pain, we were all passing something around for 2 months, and, my daughter had a 10 day flu in there too...I was the first to get sick, in the beginning of March, and we all took turns being sick until the beginning of May...It was a BLAST! HA! Hope you get better soon, lots of rest, herbal teas, and hot soup!

My aunt is just getting over a three week case of bronchitis,
She said something that helped with congestion was putting Vicks on the bottom of your feet while you are sleeping, she was amazed at how well it worked. It sounds weird I know, but try it and you might be suprised.

DH mentioned that trick before...as I have a near-4 month old that I'm nursing...I'm leery of putting smelly ointments on my body, probably mess up his nose or something. I've been doing steamy showers and lots of black tea and when necessary, taking hits off my inhaler.

I STILL have a terrible cough (no fever though, so I'm sure it's viral and not bacterial!!!) but I was able to go for 3 and a half mile walk today so...I'm well enough I suppose!

My daughter has had some awful lung/sinus infection. No fever, but it is bacterial and she's on antibiotics. This is the second time and the cough lasts months. Ugh.
I'd say if you can walk that far you're doing pretty well.
