Stitch copyright?
I see a lot of stitch patterns demonstrated on YouTube, other than the standard garter/stockinette/ribbing, etc. Some are stitches I have seen in books. Aren't stitch patterns subject to copyright?

Not stitch patterns. Patterns that describe how to knit an item or garment are copyright protected, but not individual stitch patterns.
