Okay so I opted for these because everyone who is doing two at a time sox raves about them but I can't get them to uncoil. I've tried the hot water trick and this just spring back to the shape they were in in the package. Any suggestions? It's driving me nuts!

Hmm. I've never had a problem with Addis being curly. They're usually as relaxed as can be. Maybe try hanging them up for a while? Weighted? Or maybe a hairdryer would help.

I've honestly never had this issue with them.

Try leaving them in a car parked out in the sun for an hour or so. If it is as hot where you are as it is here (100 degrees + more in the car), it should help.

I might even try it myself.

I generally use Options, but I do have some Addis and don't have a problem.

Any cable will curl somewhat if you are using a longer cable than the project requires. If you're making a swatch with a 32" cable it's bound to twist a bit. What are you making and what size cable/needles are you using?

I'm using a 40" cable to do 2 at a time sox....just as is recommended. This doesn't curl just some....it's veritable pretzel. I'll try the hot car suggestions but it's also interesting to note that I wrote to Skacel and they said the cable was defective if the hot water thing didn't work. They suggested I return them for a replacement. Thanks for all the input! At least I now know I'm not crazy!
