FO's--Hats!
I made two Brandon Ribbed Beanie hats. The pattern is available on Ravelry at www.minknit.com and is labeled for beginners. It was pretty easy to follow. The decreases are all either k2tog or p2tog. The hat is knit in the round, so no seaming necessary! The stripes in opposite stitches break up the monotony of a ribbed hat.

The pattern comes in three sizes: child, ladies, and mens. The first one shown is for my husband and I actually stopped an inch shorter before the decreases than the pattern called for. It fits him perfectly. The second one is for my sister and again, I stopped an inch shorter on that one as well. She tells me it fits well. I used the mens sizing for him and the ladies sizing for her.

Mens; Cascade 220 (wool):

Ladies; Red Heart Pink Camo (acrylic):

Thanks so much for looking!!

They look really nice!

I make a lot of hats for charity. They're a great way to use up yarn, even random scraps.
