White cardigan pattern
Do you have the pattern for the white cardigan?
I really like the sweaters and would love to have the pattern for the white one. My niece just had another girl and that would be a great sweater to make for her and her sister.

Those are beautiful! No patterns? OK, I need to cry. I don't have the imagination to be able to "knit by ear" as it were. How wonderful that you can do something like that and have such beauty come off your needles.

Sorry, I didn't write it down :( And it all honesty I would modify it a bit so that it's not so wide. It had some neat ideas, like casiting on 90 st and decreasing to 60 and increasing agian to 90 cause both are multiple of 2 and 3. Or doing increases two stitches at a time on the alternate sides of a raglan seam... or no need for a button band and button holes (although it's a matter of taste).

Maybe it will try to recreate it in a more worthy yarn and see if it's pattern worthy.

Thank you! I was going to say something encouraging along the line that I believe everyone can or at least wants to knit by ear. But I know that it takes lots of time and failed attempts and not everyone is happy with this fact. That's why I am working on something different, a new way to approach patterns that combines your creative freedom with a written pattern that will describe the garment that you put together yourself.

The best of both....I like that. In that regard, we're kindred spirits.
