Harlot Poncho - how to remember what round I'm on?!

HALP! I keep forgetting if I'm on a knit plain round or a YO round! HALP

Is there an easy way to deduce which round I'm on from looking at the work, cause I haven't found it yet! Thanks

I just finished a sweater with similar rows of YO and plain rows. When you come to a YO that is just one thread of yarn over the needle, it's time for a knit plain row. When you see the YO hole with two threads (the YO and one st through it), it's time for another YO.
