Pattern Help

It may be that I'm sick, but I am stuck on this pattern. It's for a cabled hat being knit in the round.

I had 96 stitches and I'm making decreases. The first row goes like this:
(P2, K2, K2tog, K6) repeat 8 times.

So that left me with 88 stitches,
