I'm taking a look at
this scarf pattern here that I might attempt at some point in the near future (why? I'm a total newbie and I tend to bite off more than I can chew. Lol) and I have a couple questions.

I know that "ssk"=slip slip knit, but how exactly do you do that?
Also, I've read what a yarn-over is, but since I've never tried it, I'm not too familiar with how it's done. Is there a video someone can point me to? And does a yarn-over in this case count as a stitch?
