Seed stitch

I was making a baby sweater that has a seed stitch pattern.

Im a little confused after seeing a youtube video.

I did a row of k1,p1
then the inst says knit all purl stitches and purl all knit stitches.

My doubt is, when I do even number of stitches that starts with a knit and ends with a purl, what does the next row start with?

The first stitch looks like a knit when I turn my needle around to start a new row, so do I do p1,k1 for the next row?

I hope I was able to get my doubt across clearly..

When you are ready to start the new row, if the stitch looks like a knit then you purl it, and if it looks like a purl you knit it. For seed stitch work each stitch, on each row the opposite of what it looks like as the stitch faces you ready to be worked.

Yes and it doesn't matter if you have an odd or even number of sts. For seed st, you knit the ones that look like purls and purl the ones that look like knit sts.
