Directions I am finding for Double Seed Stitch are as follows:
(K2, P2) two rows
(P2,K2) two rows
I want to knit an earflap hat in this stitch. The hat would be worked in the round but the ear covers need to be knitted flat. Kind of like this knitter did:
Earflap Hat
In this
pattern for a hat and blanket the pattern states:
In the Round (hat):
Rounds 1 & 2: K2, P2
Rounds 3 & 4: P2, K2
Flat (blanket):
(K2, P2) two rows
(P2,K2) two rows
These are identical (aren't they

) and if so, is this accurate that I will get the same look flat or round by continuing with 2 rows of *k2 p2* then 2 rows of *p2 k2* regardless of whether or not I am knitting flat or in a tube?
Or am I really confused?
Thanks in advance to anyone that can clarify!!!
PS-
Is Not critical --
is Double Seed
the same as Double Moss or
is there a difference?
