K 2 in each of the first 5 sts??????
This is all it's telling me in the pattern. Do I knit in the front and the back or is there some other way of doing this?

Thank you so much for your help!

You can do a knit front and back in this case and that may be the easiest. There are other increases if you want to think about one of them on the Increases page under Free Videos at the top of this page. I like to knit into the back of the loop of the stitch below but Kfb will work.

Yes, generally when a pattern says to knit each st twice, or to increase in a stitch, it means kfb.
