Haha that was a total mistake.

I thought to myself that since I didn't have any of those fancy split stitch markers I could eyeball where to start the stitches.

I was obviously wrong, and when I noticed how crooked it was decided to offset the other half the other way to make up for it.

About the time I saw how much off center I was I saw on the table next to me a safety pin. I wouldn't even have had to stand or lean to grab & use it as a stitch marker.

So the result was due to double laziness, (1st) not extending my arm to grab and use the safety-pin and (2d) not pulling out the stitches to center the thing correctly once I noticed the problem.

But I was in a hurry to "write" 2012 for the first time on something fun and not on a bill or something.

Driving a car can be fun if you follow this (STEAMY) advice:
