I'm working on a slouchy hat and I'm contemplating starting another lap blanket. My all-time favorite pattern EVER is Bernat's Ripple Stitch Afghan (Knit)

So, what kind of things is everyone knitting right now?

I'm working on a blanket for my son, three blankets for charity, some scarves, cowls, and a few preemie baby things for charity.

Right now I'm determined to get all the ends woven in on this sweater, before the end of the year! I've a scarf going that I remember, a crochet afghan I must finish, and I'm not sure what else. How did I get so many yarn ends on this sweater? If I don't know I'm sure nobody else does either.

I'm working (very slowly) on a pair of socks for a friend. I wonder if I will ever finish them! I used to be really quick at knitting socks, but not anymore. I guess I lost my sock mojo.

Lose sock mojo! Inconceivable! I've been lucky enough to attend both Sock Summits and after all, sock yarn does NOT count as stash!

I'm working on scarves for a battered women charity.

I just love knitting for charity. Very satisfying

I'm working on a chicken hat for my goofy daughter. I got the pattern on Ravelry. I don't know what I was thinking because the first time I cast on for it, it was huge! So I ripped it back out and now have restarted it. It will be funny when it's done.

LOVE it! Can't wait to see that hat.

Can you believe that I have never done a ripple stitch afghan? I did a baby size one once, but I want a big one. But, I'll be making two blankets as part of the Bernat Mystery Knit and Crochet Along for 2012. So, I guess I'll have to wait a while on the ripple. I am excited about the mystery blankets, though!

So, what kind of things is everyone knitting right now?

My ongoing project is to use up all my scrap yarn making baby items to donate to the hospital. Just finished a preemie hat earlier this morning.

I've been planning on making winter hat and scarf sets for my sister and I (same pattern, different colors) for a while. I've got a few Afghans I've been working on for a while, and it looks like I will be making at least two baby blankets for friends/family this year.

The thing I'm most excited about, though, is that I have decided to start my first sweater tomorrow! Our LYS is having a 30% off all yarn sale for tomorrow, so I've decided to seize the opportunity. I think I knit baby blankets ALL YEAR last year, which I love, BUT Ireally want to do something with SHAPE this year.
