Herringbone Stitch
Hi there,
I just started a cowl in herringbone stitch - which is a lot harder than I thought! I'm using Cascade Yarns Eco Duo yarn, alpaca and merrino wool, so pretty.

My problem is that myedge is wavy, which I've never had before, my knitting is usually quite even.

Will blocking fix this?

Yes it probably will even out when you wash or block it. You can do that to what you've done up to now to see how it turns out. Herringbone is a very dense stitch so needs to be done with a loose gauge or it will be stiff and pull in a lot, so make sure you're not using smaller needles.
