That is a great little bag. So colorful. Just perfect! I am not real familiar with Tunisian crochet, but seem to remember it is quite dense, so a good choice for a bag, giving it a lot of strength and keeping it from stretching out.

Thank you. Everyone has been so wonderfully kind and encouraging. The project really was mostly just a whim.

Yes, Tunisian is thick and I've even seen the fabric compared to cardboard. For some applications that's fantastic, such as for bags, like you said, but I still felt it needed to be lined to help maintain the fabric, keep the floats on the back confined, and to keep small objects from slipping through. Using a larger hook makes it softer and more flexible. If I want softer and more flexible I think that for me knitting is better.
