I need help with M1R please?
I have a pattern that reads p m1r k. Know I am a little confused, do you always knit a m1r?

m1r is usually a knit through the back loop of the bar between sts as in the video Sue referred you to. You can purl as in a m1p which is a little more awkward but can be done.

I think the instructions are p1, m1r, k1, she just didn't put all the 1s in there or commas.
