Hey look...another noob.
Yeah, sorry about that. 'nother noob. Hi there! I'maleftie, started teaching myself during a week my doctor decided I should really be sleeping instead of anything else productive, so...yeah. As if being a saspaw wasn't bad enough, I actually sort of pretend to knit like a rightie. I don't get it either.

Would someone mind translating this into simple "do this, then that" words for my idiot brain to parse? Pretty please? I know how to knit stitch, I know how to purl stitch, I can even count some days (if I use my toes and have enough coffee), so I'm trying to put it all together.

Row 1: *knit 2, knit into the back of the next stitch, purl 1. Repeat from * till there are 2 stitches left. Knit 2.

Hey, a lot of left handed people knit righthanded, it's normal...

Knit into the back of the stitch is called ktbl and there's a video for it on the Glossary page. A stitch has 2 legs over the needle, 1 in front of it and one in back of it. Usually you knit into the one in front which would also be the leg closest to the tip of the needle.

So for this row - knit 2 sts, k1 st tbl, purl 1 stitch, and repeat those 4 sts across the row until there's 2 left and then knit those 2.
