Felted afghan squares
I have an idea for a quilt block made from a recycled wool sweater. My question is this...if I knit a aran style patterned afghan block and then felt it, will the pattern still be visible? or will the felting process make it disappear?

Felted cables will show, but I don't think that more subtle stitch patterns like seed stitch will remain visible.
