So, I need help...
I have figured out how to cast on and make my first row... I think I read somewhere i'm doing garter stitch? anyways, after you finish the first row and all the wool is on the opposite side to the one you started on how do you keep going? Youtube hasn't helped and I have no clue wha I'm doing...
Any advice would be cool. Thanks :D

After each row, you put the needle with the stitches on it in your left hand and the empty needle in your right and keep on going!

Hi and welcome to KH! When you knit the row you moved the stitches from the needle in your left hand to the needle in your right hand. Now, you're going to turn the needle with the stitches on it around and take it in your left hand. The yarn will be at the tip of the needle ready for you to work with it. Take a look at this video from the Getting Started section of the Free Videos and watch how Amy switches needles at the end of the row. It's English method but there's also a Continental video if that's the method you're using.

There's another video on the Tips page called Demo of a Small project which shows casting on, working a few rows (in stockinette st, but it's basically the same as for garter st) then binding off. That should help too.

Hmmm, looks pretty much the same as the one linked to above. That's different...
